Freddie Gibbs, “The Ghetto”

11 May

Far be it from me to suggest that maybe Freddie Gibbs should have, like, put together an album and gone to Koch or something instead of releasing an 81-track mixtape that no one would have the ears to listen to all the way through. I’m just here to share “The Ghetto,” a sax loop-and-piano-powered story of growing up in Mike Jack’s hometown.

This should be off Str8 Killa No Filla, because Gibbs is on a quest to have seventeen classic mixtapes and three albums or something. I’ll do the lyrics when I get a chance.
