Andre 3000, “Lookin’ 4 Ya” (Verse) (MP3 + Lyrics)

19 Sep

It’s rare that I just do lyrics for a song based on wanting to know them, but this is a fantastic verse of a caliber that’s rare even for Three Stacks. It’s also hard for me to listen to this song in full without wanting an OutKast album.

Download the full song here. (I’ll have lyrics for that in the morning.) Download Andre 3000’s last verse here. Lyrics after the jump.

Lyrics:

I-I-I be on it, in and out it, in and out it
In and out it, in and out it, went about it
Like I owned it, dog it, gone it, dog and pony show
Said my name repeatedly, repeated me
Like Tony Toni Tone, Tony, Tony
I know, I know, I know, I said two too many Tonys
I go, I go, I go, I’m not usually a mornin’ person
But certain skirt sin makes me
Pull back the curtain and let the sun burst in
She searchin’ for her Ken, Barbie
Her skin makes my Berlin Wall fall down
To the ground, now to shave artly
A one night stand, number on nightstand
She ain’t gon’ never leave me hangin’ like an ol’ white man
But she don’t understand that I’m a fan of Steely Dan
And she like everything that’s on the radio and I demand she change it
(Cha-cha-change it, cha-cha-change it)
(Cha-cha-change it, cha-cha-change it)

This song definitely epitomizes musical ingenuity. I was wondering if you might have the rest of the lyrics to this song. It’s been killing me, searching the whole web without luck.

I don’t, not yet, but I did mean to get them up once upon a time. Hopefully, tomorrow, I will.
